Abstract
The aim of this research is investigation of the effect of the time lag on amplitude of experimentally oscillatory in premixed combustion chamber. A pre-mixed combustion chamber was built for this purpose.  Simultanouse Combustion chamber instability monitoring and flow parameter measurement is one of the important characteristics of this combustion chamber. This research is based on experimental observation and comparison of the visualisations to the results of Rayleigh’s criterion. Since time lag is the most important parameter for anticipating thermo acoustic instability; in this work, the effect of Rayleigh’s criterion on a combustion chamber is investigated experimentally.  The results has a good agreement with Rayleigh’s criterion.
